Golden British Shorthair Facts
Golden Shaded Shorthairs are known for their sweet and affectionate temperament. They are loyal companions and make great pets for families with children and other pets.
They are a small- to medium-sized breed.
Show-quality Golden British Shorthairs have a round, chubby face with a good width between their round small-tipped ears. Their chest is broad, and their legs are short to medium in length and strong. Their paws are round, and their tail is thick.
Short, dense, and crisp coat:
The short, dense, and crisp coat that is easy to groom. Our Golden British Shorthair have cream undercoat and a mantle of black tipping.
The tipping should be evenly distributed over the back, flanks, head, ears, and tail. The paw pads should be black.
The Cuddler:
British Shorthairs love to cuddle with their owners. They’re not the type of cat who will jump in your lap and demand attention, but they’re always happy to snuggle up next to you on the couch or in bed.
The Shadow:
British Shorthairs are always curious to see what you’re up to and will follow you like a shadow, but they’re also content to just sit nearby and watch.
Couch Potato and Hunter: They love to relax and take naps. But they still have a wild side chasing after toys pretend hunting.
With the loveliest and biggest eyes in the cat world, British Shorthairs will make you dream just by staring at them.
Their captivating eyes shimmer in shades of green or blue-green.
British Shorthair kittens are born with blue eyes, which fade to gray by three months old. Their true eye color then develops gradually.
Golden British Shorthairs have green or blue-green eyes. Pointed Golden British Shorthairs have blue eyes.
